Under the patronage of the Tala Bay Hotels Group, Nama Relief and Development Association, in collaboration with the Arab Medical Relief Association, organized a charitable medical campaign in the Aqaba Governorate. The campaign took place from Sunday, November 13th, 2022, until Thursday, November 17th, 2022. The medical outreach covered areas including Deseh, Rashidiya, Resha, Al Karama neighborhood, and the Shamia district in the city of Aqaba. Over the course of five days, more than 3,000 citizens benefited from this charitable medical initiative. The medical campaign was staffed by a dedicated team of volunteer medical professionals from various specialties, including clinics for gynecology, pediatrics, dermatology, ENT, general medicine, dentistry, and ophthalmology. Additionally, a mobile clinic with equipped dental facilities and advanced ultrasound capabilities joined the charitable effort. The campaign was complemented by a pharmacy providing free medication to patients. This initiative is part of the charitable medical campaigns project organized by Nama Relief and Development Association. Since its inception, the association has conducted over 700 days of free medical services. The campaign was made possible through the generous sponsorship of the Tala Bay Hotels Group, and with the support and cooperation of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority, Elah Development Oasis Company, Hyatt Regency Aqaba Ayla, Kimabco for Fertilizers and Chemicals, Arab Chemicals Company, Wadi Araba Development Company, Jordanian Mining Company, Aqaba Charitable Organizations Union, various pharmaceutical companies and warehouses, and the International Online Film Festival organization. Alongside the medical activities, various events were held, including face painting for children and a series of lectures covering diverse health topics such as public safety and the risks of antibiotics. The Hussein Cancer Center participated in the campaign, along with a group of student volunteers from the Princess Alia College of Nursing at Al-Balqa Applied University's Aqaba branch. They provided awareness about breast cancer and conducted preliminary screenings for visitors.
